Word has it Mr. Carter spent hours in the store choosing $350,000 worth of Birkin bags for Mrs. Carter.
It’s no secret Beyonce loves her some Hermes Birkin bags. She’s constantly spotted with them in every color and embellishment. Like her black spiked Birkin she was rocking in Australia a couple weeks ago (pictured above).
And reportedly, her hubby Jay-Z just added to her collection…amongst other fab Hermes things…for Christmas. According to the NY Post:
“Jay was in a private room of Hermes doing last-minute shopping. He had a guard standing watch outside. He spent $350,000 on Birkin bags, among other things.” The buying binge took so long, Jay-Z missed his scheduled lunch at Nello, prompting the restaurateur to deliver his food to the store.
Lunch from an uber pricey Upper East Side spot delivered to where you’re shopping? Gotta love that ish.
And to put this into perspective, Birkins can range on average from $25,000 to $50,000 per bag
