Man, 80, Charged In Wife’s Choking Death

- Baltimore police said they’ve arrested an 80-year-old man in the choking death of his 83-year-old wife at their home.
Philip Reid is facing charges in the death of his wife, Glennie.Police said the couple’s daughter heard screams coming from the house Monday night and called police. The home is located in the 1200 block of North Augusta Avenue.Officers forced the door open and found Reid attacking his wife, according to investigators. Glennie Reid was pronounced dead at the scene.Police said she is the 12th homicide victim in Baltimore since Memorial Day weekend.
