Feedback Track Artist Marcus Johnson Entertaining At Event Honoring African-Americans

Smooth jazz pianist Marcus Johnson will provide the entertainment at a special event to commemorate the efforts of African-Americans during the Civil War. Today, November 10, Blacks in Government, Parklawn Chapter, presents the second annual Region XI: Salute to the African American Civil War Veterans at Hogates Seafood Restaurant in Washington, D.C.
In addition to a performance by Johnson and his band, participants can see dramatic presentations by African American Civil War Museum re-enactors.
Johnson’s latest CD, Poetically Justified, features the smooth jazz single “Chillaxin’.” That song is now featured as the Feedback Track on the Smooth Jazz Top 20 hosted by Allen Kepler. To vote on the song, go to smoothjazztop20.com.
