Mother Charged With Neglect After Leaving Child In Hot Car To Shop In Beauty Supply Store

A West Palm Beach, FL woman was arrested for leaving her child in a hot car while she went shopping inside a beauty supply store.
The crying infant was spotted by a woman walking through the parking lot who noticed the baby crying, sweating and shaking. She then called Fire Rescue who got the child out of the car.
The woman then went inside several stores to see who the child belonged too but no one fessed up so she called the police.
When police arrived, 22-year-old Chekeena Hall walked out the beauty supply store and was questioned by the police who asked her why in the world would she leave the baby sitting in the car for so long.
Hall allegedly nonchalantly responded that she simply forgot.
She was then arrested and charged with neglect.
Some people just shouldn’t be parents.
