George Clinton’s Son Found Dead in Florida

*The 50-year-old son of funk pioneer George Clinton was found dead Monday at his home in Tallahassee, Florida, according to reports.
The body of George Clinton Jr. was discovered by a maintenance man who was checking on his welfare after he had been unheard from for several days. Police say the death was likely due to natural causes, as there was no indication of foul play.
“Barring any finding by the Medical Examiner’s Office, our investigation is complete,” said the Sheriff’s Office.
Clinton Jr. leaves behind one daughter, Shonda, who performed under the name Sativa. Funeral services have not yet been announced.
Clinton Sr., who attended the Grammy’s on Sunday, just lost his mother Julious G. Keaton in December.
