Nov 27th, 2009 by Bilal Ali

James Brown’s 1966 single “It’s A Man’s Man’s Man’s World” and the Isley Brothers’ “Twist and Shout” are among the 25 new recordings being inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame.

The Recording Academy said Tuesday that the hall of fame now includes a total of 851 titles that were selected to represent the triumphs and achievements of the recording arts, reports the Associated Press. The inductees were drawn from all categories of music.

Other recordings selected this year include: Marley’s 1973 album “Catch a Fire,” Jose Feliciano’s “Feliz Navidad;” Janis Joplin’s “Pearl;” Louis Armstrong’s “Lazy River;” and Muddy Waters’ “I Feel Like Going Home.”
